The Carlsberg Best Practice Technology Exchange 2018 took place over 2 days and was a series of presentation and break-out sessions between the Carlsberg executives and  14 selected supplier experts. The aim was to to get ideas on how Carlsberg can reach defined targets on operational excellence, sustainability, energy efficiency and water management in the coming years

 

Carlsberg participated with 35 key executives from Carlsberg Supply Company, Technical directors, Plant managers, Chief engineers, etc. From Western- and Eastern Europe. Carlsberg executives from China, India, Vietnam, Malaysia and Laos also participated in the event.


Carlsberg is the 3rd largest brewery group in the world employing around 41,000 people. Carlsberg owns 26 breweries in Western Europe and 15 breweries in Eastern Europe.

 

Carlsberg is the undisputed market leader in Northern Europe with No. 1 positions in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the three Baltic States. Western Europe with markets such as UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, etc. accounts for a large part of Carlsberg annual revenue.

 

The Eastern Europe region covers the growth markets of Russia and the Ukraine and the emerging beer markets of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Azerbaijan.
