The Danone Digital Manufacturing Summit 2018 took place over two days and consisted of a series of presentations and breakout sessions between Danone Executives and 20 carefully selected suppliers.
The Summit was designed to provide Danone with an insight into the latest technologies and innovations focusing on the factory of the future, with technologies identified as high potential to be rapidly piloted in a Danone Early Life Nutrition production facility.
Danone participated with 50+ key executives from its Early Life Nutrition, Dairy and Water Groups with representatives from Central Engineering, R&I, Manufacturing and Quality, from Europe, China and Indonesia.
Born through the merger of BSN & Gervais Danone in 1972, Danone Group has developed into one of the world’s largest food companies, with an annual turnover of €24.7 B and employs more than 100,000 people globally.
