MillerCoors Supplier Summit, USA 2013

The MillerCoors Supplier Summit was a 2-day seminar which took place on October 30-31, 2013 in Milwaukee, USA.

The MillerCoors Supplier Summit was organized by InterPartner and the MillerCoors Engineering & Packaging team. After a succesful 1-day seminar in late 2011, MillerCoors in early 2013 approached InterPartner in order to organize a bigger and broader event with suppliers in order to jointly develop new and sustainable solutions to implement in MillerCoors.

MillerCoors is a joint venture between SABMiller and Molson Coors. The joint venture has the responsibility of producing/selling Miller and Coors beer brands in the US, with the purpose of combining the brewing operations to better meet competition. The company is also tasked with brewing brands of beer and lager that are owned by Pabst Brewing Company.   The brewing facilities in the United States include six former SABMiller breweries, two former Molson Coors breweries, and the two Leinenkugel’s breweries. The company employs totally 8,500 people (of which 6,000 is in production), including 800 in plant maintenance organization roles. MillerCoors is headquartered in Chicago, IL and is the No. 2 brewer in the United States, holding approximately a 30 percent market share. SABMiller and Molson Coors are still independently run.

Thank you very much to the organizing team from MillerCoors - we look forward to a mutual beneficial and fruitful cooperation in the future.
