Hans Peter founded InterPartner in 1990, after 20 years with marketing management positions in Unilever, Weston of Scandinavia and a few advertising agencies. For the first decade, Hans Peter focused on Danish companies who wanted to expand abroad by export promotion, joint ventures, strategic alliances or M&A.
In 2000 Hans Peter and InterPartner made two radical changes: firstly, they started working more long-term with their clients. Rather than focusing on just one assignment, they started long-lasting cooperation on international business development, aligning with their clients’ business strategy. Secondly, and even more important, Hans Peter decided to abandon the idea of working for Danish clients, deciding to expand abroad. The new business model took a unique starting point, the needs of global key accounts. The large international groups being strategic accounts for our clients. InterPartner clients today are technology providers from all regions of the world, together with most of the top-20 global FMCG groups.
Hans Peter could have retired by now, however, he still enjoys working with new & existing clients and with his two partners. And there are still challenges to go for, including new business opportunities, and keeping pace with his younger partners on a 10K run!
Hans Peter lives at the coast north of Copenhagen with his wife Annie and enjoys the house in Southern France when possible.
